Post Easter Message
POST EASTER MESSAGE
APRIL 2, 2013
Greetings, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. “HE’S ALIVE! INDEED, HE IS ALIVE!, AMEN!” I pray that you had a blessed and joyous Easter worship service and a great time of fellowship with family and friends. We who believe, know that Jesus is at the right hand of the Father and will return one day for His Church. We need to continue the mission of the Apostles and tell all we meet about His love. We cannot let culture or life events determine who we are. We must try to follow and obey God’s Truth at all times. He gave his son to die for our sins, so we must repent of our sinful ways and turn to Him. Be vigilant for those who do not know Christ and be ready to share your testimony and know the Scriptures so you can clearly explain the Truth.
Remember that the Easter service is the template for who we are and why we celebrate our Risen Lord. Hold in your heart the warm spirit and blessings of the day. Go forward with great courage to preach the Gospel to family, friends and strangers who are seeking “something”, a reason for being. In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.” So, after leaving the Easter service, be bold and confident in who you are as a child of the king. When you hear your beliefs ridiculed, or if your God is blasphemed, remember your Easter service. No matter if it is done by a politician, a business, a clergy, a friend, or by another brother, speak up with the love of Christ and be strong in your faith and your knowledge of the truth. Do not let the non-believer’s hateful ignorance of the Truth go without protest. We need to take a stand for Christ. I pray that the message you received during your Easter service was one of truth, power and great joy. Jesus spoke with boldness and confidence, now, let us go and do likewise.
