REGISTER NOW!!! FOR HOPI MISSION PROJECT APRIL 8 TO APRIL 26, 2013
Hello Brothers and Sisters and fellow Missionaries. As you know, we accomplished a great deal of work last year at Sunlight Mission Church and facilities at Second Mesa, AZ. We established some really good friendships and witnessed great support and satisfaction for the work we accomplished. We will return April 8, 2013, working through Friday, April 26, 2013. Of course, the length of the Mission is dependent upon funding and volunteers. Right now, our funds are very low for this Mission and you can help by informing your friends, social groups and churches that they can donate on line at www.abmen.org or send donations to ABMen-USA HOPI, PO Box 1019, Parkersburg, WV 26102.
If we are not able to fund the total construction of the “new multipurpose building” this year, we hope to at least prepare the foundation work so the building can be completed next year in 2014. Because of funding, our concentration this year will be toward the playground, additional repairs/remodeling to the church, some maintenance on the Parsonage and the Community Center, the basketball court, additional work on the water system, septic system and other tasks as requested by the Missionaries, Scott and Melinda Wight.
The cost for volunteers is the same as last year: $40 non-refundable registration fee and $125 per week for food and lodging. If you plan to volunteer for this worthwhile Mission, please do so soon. You can REGISTER ON LINE at www.abmen.org and you can PAY ON LINE. Should you desire to use the hands on method, please go to www.abmen.org and download the REGISTRATION FORMS and send them along with your payment to me at the address listed on the form and listed below. If you, as a leader, want to register a group, please contact me to do that.
DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING AS A VOLUNTEER MISSIONARY FOR THIS MISSION IS MARCH 30, 2013.
Please prayerfully consider joining us for another opportunity to minister to the needs of the Hopi Indians at Second Mesa, AZ. They are a peaceful, proud and friendly people, who have great needs that we can fill.
